Jonathan has lectured internationally as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist.
20 years of practice with the Royal Marines gifted Jonathan his extensive knowledge of Overuse Injuries in the Foot, Ankle and Lower Limb. Jonathan has a special interest in Vascular Conditions which affect the foot and limb both in younger and older patients.
Jonathan has a keen interest in all aspects of Foot Orthotic Therapy and personally CAD CAM designs each of our patient's Prescription Foot Orthoses. He also oversees the 3D Printing process. Jonathan also appeared in the ITV documentary ‘Commando: On The Frontline’ whilst working with Commando Training Centre Royal Marines.

After years of battling with huge NHS orthotics which meant I could only wear certain types of huge boots and struggling to get appointments when needed and living with a lot of knee pain, going to Northernhay Clinic was a revelation. They gave me slim small custom orthotics that fit into practically any shoe and total prevention of knee pain. They have lasted 5 years before they needed renewing, compared to the 9 months I had on the NHS. Their customer service is fantastic. For anyone like me struggling with orthotics I thoroughly recommend them. I’ll see you again in another 5 years 😁

The service here is incredible, after years of pain with bunions and flat feet Jack provided a fantastic service, very in depth and professional. It’s been 6 weeks since I received my custom orthotics and I am already 95% pain free. It’s changed my life and I am so appreciative. I couldn’t recommend the clinic more.

Pain free!!!! After suffering from pain in the ball of each of my feet for 5+ years I finally decided to do something about it. I’m an avid hiker / trekker so walking and being active is a huge part of my life. Following an appointment and diagnosis of Morton’s neuroma I was fitted with a pair of custom orthotics and given a detailed plan of action. 2 weeks after my fitting I was in the Himalayas completing a circuit around the Annapurna range - pain free?! I was recommended to see Jack by a friend after struggling with shin pain while running for as long as I can remember. The appointment was great, he really listened and reassured me.
