Jack was inspired to train as a Podiatrist after he himself was a patient at Northernhay Clinic when he was 18. He had struggled with ongoing shin pain throughout his teens and his sport & fitness was suffering as a result. After seeing Jonathan and being prescribed Custom Foot Orthoses (that he still wears to this day) Jack was able to start enjoying his fitness again, without shin pain. Jack understands Podiatry treatments from a patient perspective and is passionate about our MSK Podiatry interventions as they have been completely life changing for him.

Jack loves trail running, climbing, surfing, swimming & resistance training. He and his wife Claire (also a Podiatrist) live in Exeter and love spending time together Hiking on the Devon Moors & Coastpaths.

Great service from Jack Boulter at Northernhay Clinic. My ankle and knee problems have been corrected quickly and easily with a set of custom insoles following an initial examination. I should have made my appointment months earlier! Highly recommended for anyone with pain in the feet, ankles or knees. A practical, drug free solution.

I am so impressed with the service I received from Northernhay Clinic. Jack was very approachable and took time to explain the treatment that he offered. He was happy to answer any questions in a friendly and professional manner. The custom made foot orthoses are fantastic! They are so comfortable and have helped my back, hip and foot issues. They really are a game changer! I would highly recommend Northernhay Clinic.

Excellent attitude and service. It has taken me from virtually unable to walk, back to walking almost pain free. Professional setup, with quality up to date equipment in a small personal clinic. Easy parking nearby too. Thoroughly satisfied with my service from them.

Professional, friendly and effective. I had close to 2 years of tendonitis and bursitis following a major knee operation, even standing was often painful. My GP was useless and I was gaining weight and becoming slightly depressed. I saw Jack Boulter at the Northernhay Clinic who made a comprehensive assessment and analysis and offered a few options for treatment. After only a few sessions I am finally pain free again and able to get back to all the activities and sports I love. Great service, highly recommended.

I recommend a visit to the Northernhay Clinic if you have an ankle problem. The pre-assessment submission is thorough and wide-ranging so that the initial briefing is well informed. The treadmill and computerised analysis of walking patterns was revealing and the custom-made orthoses are comfortable and effectively amend walking habits. Jack is informative, welcoming and very efficient and knowledgeable.

Having had previous experience with other Podiatrist clinics, I can fully recommend Northernhay Clinic absolutely 100%! My treatment for long term heel and ankle pain with Jack has been amazing and I am, at last now, on the road to recovery. A really great clinic with a lovely friendly and welcoming vibe.
