NO. your feet alignment is as individual as you! Custom orthotics are contoured to make your feet work in the optimum way for you as an individual.

No. They align the numerous segments and joints of the foot and ankle with your leg and the earth's surface to create better function. They allow for better foot movement and stability. Arch supports often block segments of the foot. Arch support is

Generally not - we will give footwear advice on an individual basis.
Q: Will I Need To Wear Orthotics All The Time?

The more you wear them the better. However, if you are going out for the evening - indulge yourself and wear what you like. Some patients like to have a second set of orthotics for their dress shoes (nice but not essential!).

Orthotics only work when they are worn in shoe. Generally speaking most people will need to continue their orthotic treatment long term.
