Children are growing and developing and parents know well that it can be an expensive job keeping up with shoes and clothing. It seems a shoe that fitted yesterday does not fit today.
We understand that you will want to continue to ensure that your child's orthotics fit and function well. An orthotic will allow approximately one and a half shoe sizes growth before needing renewal.
Child Orthotic Renewal Scheme
To make orthotic therapy more affordable, on most occasions in conjunction with our orthotic laboratory we provide discounted renewals for outgrown orthotics. The scheme is available in most instances up until age 13 when the majority of outgrowths are seem. We operate a computerised reminder system to advise when renewals are due (or are likely to be due).

The overall aim of treatment in children is to allow pain free activity. We want to produce a structurally sound adult foot. Most child orthotic wearer will continue to wear as adults.
Most adults need to renew their orthotics on average every 3 years.
